The Segway Navimow Terranox CM120M1 Commercial Robot Lawn Mower brings autonomous mowing to large professional turf areas up to 12,000 m². Built for facilities, estates, sports turf and other high-area applications, it combines AWD traction, a 430 mm dual-deck cutting platform, precision Network RTK navigation and commercial fleet management.
Its purpose is not simply to remove an operator from one mowing job. Terranox is designed to make recurring large-area turf maintenance easier to schedule, monitor and standardise across sites while maintaining wire-free boundaries and connected oversight.
Terranox uses EFLS™ NRTK, combining Network RTK with 360° vision and VIO for precise commercial navigation without a buried perimeter wire. Segway/Navimow states that Network RTK can remove the need for a local antenna where coverage is available, with LRTK fallback supported where NRTK coverage is unavailable. Mapping and virtual boundaries are managed digitally rather than through physical boundary cable.
The commercial cutting system uses dual motors, a dual deck and 12 blades across a 430 mm cutting width. Height adjustment is automatic from 20 mm to 95 mm, allowing the machine to be configured for different turf requirements while maintaining a consistent repeatable cut.
An AWD drive system gives the CM120M1 the traction needed for large, imperfect sites, with a manufacturer-rated slope capability of up to 84% (40°). The platform is designed for complex commercial turf rather than only flat, simple lawns.
VisionFence™ surrounds the mower with 360° RGB visual coverage and ToF sensing. This works alongside its positioning system to identify objects and make route decisions across changing professional environments where equipment, people or temporary obstacles may appear.
Virtual boundaries, mapping, systematic mowing, multi-zone management and connected status controls are supported through the Segway Navimow ecosystem. OTA updates allow software improvements to be delivered without replacing mower hardware.
NavimowFleet™ is a key commercial feature. Through Segway Navimow’s connected platform, operators can view mower location, work performance and technical status. Manufacturer documentation also describes app and web-portal fleet management for monitoring large fleets, assigning tasks and editing maps remotely.
The CM120M1 uses a 20 Ah battery. The Australian product specification lists a 145-minute charge time; Segway/Navimow’s official commercial documentation separately rates mowing runtime at 145 minutes and mowing speed at up to 0.9 m/s. Automatic charging is standard.
The CM120M1 is a strong commercial choice when the mowing requirement is measured in hectares rather than backyard zones, but the full 24,000 m² capacity of the CM240M1 is unnecessary. It delivers the Terranox navigation, vision and fleet-management architecture in a model sized for areas up to 12,000 m².
